Founded in 1965, Chengdu Xuguang Electronics Co., Ltd. has developed into one of the largest manufacturers of producing ceramic-metal electro-vacuum devices. Our company is one of the 500 largest enterprises in electron and communication equipment industry and our company has passed the evaluation of ISO9001 quality system certification as well.

Our company is located in Xindu Industry Development Zone of Sichuan Province with a staff of over 1200 employees. Our total assets amount to over USD84 million. In 2008, we manufactured and sold over 210000 pieces of vacuum interrupters inland and the sales volume is over USD31million, totally increased by 12.92%.

Our company has a long history of producing electro-vacuum devices which cover:

(1) Ceramic-Metal Transmitting Tubes, including high power broadcasting transmitting tubes, VHF/UHF TV transmitting tubes, microwave communication triodes and tetrodes, transmitting tubes for lasers, and driving and vibration, industry heating tubes. The electron tubes are greatly exported to Germany, America, Turkey and some other countries and areas like Taiwan.

(2) Ceramic-Metal Vacuum Interrupters: chiefly designed for vacuum circuit-breakers, vacuum load-breaking switches and vacuum contactors; the switchgears equipped with XUGUANG brand vacuum interrupters are now widely used in the field of power distribution and transmission of electric power industry, metallurgy, and mining. As the quality has been highly improved, our products are now exported to Europe, Southeast Asia and some other areas. The rated voltage of our products is ranging from 1.14KV to 72.5KV, rated current from 630A to 5000A, and rated short circuit breaking current from 12.5KA to 80KA. Nevertheless, our vacuum interrupters meet or exceed the standards of E2 level of GB1984-2003 and IEC62271-100. In order to participate in the fierce competition at home and abroad, our vacuum interrupters have been continuously used by our customers to test at KEMA Test Station, China Xi'an High Voltage Apparatus Research Institute HV Test Station and some other test stations in Italy, Korea and Romania.

(3) High & Low-voltage assemblies of distribution apparatus and electrical appliance element. In 2008, we achieved a great deal of development in this area, and the total sales volume was increased by 80%. As what we planed, we will be nurtured as one big self-consumer of vacuum interrupters of XUGUANG brand. The ceramic-metal transmitting tubes and vacuum interrupters are marked as the best products in Sichuan Province. The quantities, technical level, grade of quality and market share are ahead in the same trade at home.
